Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager (M/F/D)

Tasks:

• Lead and manage a complex Data Center Migration Project, including the planning, execution, migration, and final decommissioning of legacy infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain the overall migration roadmap, ensuring minimal business disruption and successful transition to the target environment.
• Coordinate all project activities across infrastructure, application, security, operations, and business teams.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all project activities, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, timeline, and quality expectations.
• Define, prioritize, assign, and track project tasks, work packages, dependencies, and critical milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, technical specialists, and external vendors throughout all phases of the migration.
• Drive project governance and ensure effective stakeholder alignment across business and IT organizations.
• Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and steering committees while driving decisions and resolving roadblocks.
• Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and migration-related challenges.
• Ensure transparent project reporting and regular communication with senior management and executive stakeholders.
• Work closely with infrastructure architects and technical teams across networking, compute, storage, virtualization, cloud, and hybrid environments.
• Coordinate migration waves, cutover activities, validation, rollback planning, and post-migration stabilization.
• Manage all activities related to the decommissioning of the legacy data center, ensuring assets, services, and dependencies are retired in a controlled and compliant manner.
• Apply Agile project management methodologies where appropriate while integrating traditional project management practices when required.
• Provide strong leadership, maintain project momentum, hold stakeholders accountable, and confidently challenge teams where necessary to ensure project success.

Qualification:

• Extensive experience as a Senior IT Infrastructure Project Manager in large enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading Data Center Migration and Decommissioning Projects.
• Strong technical understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, including networking, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms, and hybrid infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of migration planning, cutover management, infrastructure dependencies, and operational readiness.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale infrastructure transformation initiatives.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, coordinate, and drive cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to make decisions, resolve conflicts, and perform effectively in high-pressure environments.
• Strong organizational skills with a structured, proactive, and results-oriented approach.
• Practical experience with Agile delivery methodologies and a solid understanding of traditional project management frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining focus on business objectives, operational stability, and successful project outcomes.
