Cyber Instincts is a Gothenburg-based consultancy helping organizations build digital resilience across IT, OT, and automotive environments. Within Cyber Instincts, we’re expanding beyond cybersecurity into IT project management. We work with clients across automotive, manufacturing, banking and finance, retail, and healthcare, many of them running complex transformation, infrastructure, and security programs that cut across teams, vendors, and business units. We’re building our senior bench of IT project managers who can bring structure to these engagements and deliver on time, within budget, and with stakeholders on board. By applying, you join our consultant pool, and we contact you when an assignment matches your profile.
What the work may look like:
Leading IT, digital transformation, or infrastructure projects from initiation to delivery
Planning scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, and keeping them on track as conditions change
Coordinating cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, architects, and external vendors
Managing risks, dependencies, and issues before they turn into delays
Running steering group meetings and reporting progress to management and non-technical stakeholders
Working in agile, traditional, or hybrid delivery models depending on the client’s setup
Supporting procurement and vendor management where projects rely on suppliers or subcontractors
What you’ll bring:
7+ years of experience as a project manager in IT or technology projects
A track record of delivering projects with multiple stakeholders, vendors, and teams
Solid knowledge of project methodologies such as PMI/PMBOK, PRINCE2, PROPS, or agile frameworks (Scrum, SAFe)
Experience managing budgets, timelines, and risk in a structured and transparent way
Strong communication skills, with the ability to present to steering groups and management
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written
A plus, not a requirement:
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, or SAFe
Experience from cybersecurity, OT, or compliance-driven projects (e.g. NIS2 implementation)
Experience from automotive, manufacturing, or the public sector
Experience with public procurement (LOU)
Previous consulting experience
