We are looking for a Senior IT Resilience & Disaster Recovery Officer to support the governance, coordination and monitoring of IT continuity and disaster recovery activities within a large banking environment.

The consultant will ensure that critical applications comply with established continuity requirements, procedures and recovery standards.

The role involves managing application continuity information, coordinating disaster recovery exercises, monitoring risk indicators and collaborating closely with Application Owners and IT stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines strong IT continuity knowledge, analytical skills, excellent organisational abilities and a proactive approach to stakeholder management.

This is primarily a governance and coordination role rather than a hands-on technical infrastructure recovery position.

IT Continuity Governance & Process Management

Ensure proper implementation and compliance with IT continuity policies, processes and procedures.

Understand the relationships between Business Continuity, IT Resilience and Disaster Recovery processes.

Contribute to the interpretation, maintenance and continuous improvement of continuity procedures.

Identify compliance gaps and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.

Business Impact Analysis (BIA) & Application Impact Analysis (AIA)

Coordinate and monitor periodic BIA and AIA reviews with Application Owners.

Ensure application changes are properly documented, justified and reflected in continuity documentation.

Verify alignment between application criticality levels and associated continuity requirements.

Monitor documentation completeness, accuracy and compliance with internal standards.

Application Portfolio Management & Data Analysis

Maintain and monitor application continuity information across a portfolio of approximately 1,600 applications.

Manage Excel-based application portfolios, including continuity levels, changes and related information.

Analyse data relationships, identify inconsistencies and ensure data quality.

Compare and reconcile application continuity information between Excel and ServiceNow.

Support the progressive transition of continuity information and processes towards ServiceNow.

Disaster Recovery Testing & Exercise Coordination

Plan, coordinate and monitor application-level Disaster Recovery exercises.

Identify applications requiring testing based on their criticality, previous test dates and continuity requirements.

Proactively contact Application Owners to anticipate upcoming testing deadlines.

Ensure necessary change requests and exercise authorisations are properly prepared.

Monitor testing completion, identify overdue exercises and follow up on corrective actions.

Support coordination of local and regional Disaster Recovery exercises when required.

Risk Monitoring & Reporting

Monitor IT continuity risk indicators and compliance dashboards.

Identify critical applications that do not meet required testing frequencies.

Track outstanding actions, testing deadlines and continuity-related risks.

Contribute to reporting for IT management and relevant governance stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement of monitoring and reporting processes.

Continuity Documentation & Runbooks

Understand and monitor application recovery procedures and continuity documentation.

Ensure recovery documentation is maintained and aligned with application requirements.

Collaborate with relevant teams regarding application-level Continuity Runbooks and Master Runbooks.

Support documentation reviews and improvements.

You have the following skills

Must Have

Solid understanding of IT Service Continuity, IT Resilience and Disaster Recovery principles.

Good knowledge of IT continuity governance, processes and procedures.

Understanding of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Application Impact Analysis (AIA).

Knowledge of application criticality levels and associated continuity requirements.

Experience coordinating or monitoring Disaster Recovery testing activities.

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage application-related data.

Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, tracking and reporting.

Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and following up on operational activities.

Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Professional proficiency in English.

Nice to Have

Previous experience within banking, financial services or another regulated environment.

Experience with ServiceNow, particularly application data management and IT continuity processes.

Experience managing large application portfolios.

Knowledge of IT Risk Management and continuity-related risk indicators.

Experience creating or maintaining dashboards, KPIs and compliance reports.

Familiarity with Continuity Runbooks and Master Runbooks.

Experience coordinating local or regional Disaster Recovery exercises.

Knowledge of IT Change Management processes.

Familiarity with Agile working environments and tools such as Rally.

Understanding of regulatory or industry frameworks related to operational resilience, such as DORA or ISO 22301.

Fourchette de salaire :

Salary conform to experience.

About You :

  • You have at least 7 years of professional experiences in IT
