Date: Jul 22, 2026 Location: Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Senior IT Service Desk Specialist (Remote) Full time, Sri Lanka This role serves as a representative of the Enterprise ICT Organization and collaborates with other IT functions to support day-to-day business operations, IT projects, and assigned tasks. The position also works closely with non-ICT teams, providing technical guidance, assistance, and insights to support organizational objectives . The Senior IT Service Desk Specialist is responsible for adhering to all established standards, policies, procedures, and security requirements. The role proactively identifies opportunities to improve processes and evaluates, recommends, and supports effective hardware, software, and technical solutions. In addition, the IT Service Desk Specialist ensures compliance with all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and maintains timely and effective communication with stakeholders. As a Senior IT Service Desk Specialist, you will Troubleshoot hardware, software, and other IT solutions Provide assistance to other technical teams and follow security best practices Design, develop, and/or update and implement team standards, processes, and documentation Monitor, correct, and report observed infractions of security policies and procedures Have good communication and customer service skills About you Prior Technical Experience in a 24 x 7 IT Environment Excellent Knowledge of IT systems Exceptional Troubleshooting and Problem Solving Skills Ability to develop, interpret, and follow written IT Policies and Procedures Experienced with Microsoft Business Software Applications and Other Communication tools Advanced Project Management Skills What we offer you At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
