We’re looking to hire a Senior Java Engineer to join our Team in digital transformation projects. Project Scope : Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications. Act as a technical reference, supporting the growth of the development team through mentoring, architectural guidance, and engineering best practices. Mandatory Skills: More than 6 years of experience in Java development and technical leadership. Strong experience with Java, JSF, Hibernate, Oracle, and PrimeFaces. Hands-on experience with Jenkins and Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of source control and code quality tools such as Git, SonarQube, and JUnit. Experience designing and integrating Web Services (REST and SOAP). Strong communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have: Experience with legacy system modernization, migration, or refactoring projects. Java and/or Oracle certifications. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience mentoring and supporting junior and mid-level developers. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable, high-quality software solutions. Define technical architectures and development standards. Support continuous integration and delivery processes. Lead technical discussions and contribute to strategic technology decisions. Mentor development teams and promote engineering best practices. Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Location: Lisbon, Portugal Remarks : Hybrid work model: 1 / 2 days on-site and 3 days remote.
