As a Senior Joinery Programmer , you will play a critical role in transforming approved design documentation into precise production-ready programs that support manufacturing and installation. This position is ideal for an experienced joinery professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where technical expertise, precision, and continuous improvement directly contribute to successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed shop drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM) for production and client approvals. Develop CNC programs, cutting lists, beam saw, edge bander, and machining files using IMOS. Convert approved design and architectural drawings into production-ready manufacturing documentation. Coordinate with internal design, procurement, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution. Revise and update production programs based on approved design changes. Maintain accurate project information within ERP and manufacturing software systems. Verify the accuracy of manufacturing documentation before production begins. Identify and resolve programming or documentation issues to minimize production errors. Ensure all documentation complies with project specifications and quality standards. Tools & Software IMOS (Homag) (Required) Microvellum (Preferred) ERP Systems (e.g., Innergy or similar) AutoCAD CNC Programming Software Microsoft Office Suite Required Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Joinery Programmer, Joinery Detailer, Cabinetry Programmer, or similar role within the commercial joinery or cabinetry manufacturing industry. Hands-on professional experience using IMOS (Homag) is required. Strong understanding of commercial joinery manufacturing processes and production workflows. Experience preparing shop drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), cutting lists, CNC programs, and production work orders. Ability to accurately interpret architectural and construction drawings. Excellent attention to detail with a strong commitment to producing error-free work. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Preferred Experience with Microvellum or other joinery design and production software. Experience working with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with CNC machinery and automated manufacturing processes. Experience supporting commercial fit-out or custom joinery projects.
