  • Work with transactional attorneys on acquisitions and development projects, including matters involving regulated residential properties.

  • Handle rent-regulatory proceedings and advise owners on acquisition due diligence, tenant buyouts, building vacates, and demolition projects.

What We're Looking For

  • Four to ten years of experience in NYC residential rent-regulatory law, including Rent Stabilization, ETPA, and HSTPA, and at least three years of NYC zoning and land use experience.

  • Strong working knowledge of the NYC Zoning Resolution and experience with zoning analyses, land use applications, and DHCR proceedings.

  • Experience representing landlords, owners, or developers, including in acquisition due diligence and related real estate matters.

  • Admission to the New York Bar and strong academic credentials.

  • A record of sustained employment and professional commitment; be prepared to explain any employment gaps.
