Role Overview
As a
Senior Lawyer
, you will be a key leader in our legal team, advising on complex regulatory, contractual, compliance, and risk matters. You will support global operations, drive strategy for entering new markets, and ensure the company’s activities comply with evolving crypto, gaming, and financial laws.

Key Responsibilities:
Legal & Regulatory
Provide legal guidance on international
crypto laws
,
online gambling regulations
,
blockchain
,
anti-money laundering (AML)
and
counter-terrorist financing (CTF)
frameworks.
Lead licensing and regulatory approval processes in new and existing markets.
Monitor and interpret changes in global legal landscape (gaming, fintech, data privacy, payments) and advise stakeholders.
Contracts & Commercial
Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial contracts: aggregation and provider agreements, PSP agreement, vendor agreements, partnerships, licensing deals, technology/IT contracts, IP-related agreements, and marketing arrangements.
Advise on customer terms and conditions, privacy policy, customer claims.
Compliance & Risk Management
Establish and maintain robust compliance policies and internal controls.
Support AML/KYC strategy and work with compliance teams to deliver training and audits.
Manage legal risk, including disputes, enforcement notices, and regulatory scrutiny.
Corporate & Cross-Functional Support
Work with finance, product, compliance, and operations teams to ensure legal alignment with business initiatives.
Support corporate governance matters, board reporting, and internal policy documentation.
Supervision:
Supervise external legal counsel when needed.
Supervise internal legal counsel.
Qualifications:
Required
Degree in Law (LL.B/J.D. or equivalent); advanced degree preferred.
Qualified lawyer with a focus on cross border gambling regulations.
5+ years
(typically 7+) of legal experience,
including international experience
.
Strong expertise in
crypto / blockchain / fintech
, and
online gaming/gambling law
.
Proven experience advising on
multi-jurisdictional compliance
and licensing.
Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of English language (C1 - Advanced (Proficient User).
Preferred
Experience advising Igaming casinos, tech startups or scale-ups.
Experience with AML, KYC, sanctions compliance.
Knowledge of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Skills & Attributes

Comfortable working independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
