The company this now ramping up its private cloud GTM strategy for the Nordic market and therefore looking to hire a Senior Lead Engineer with base in Stockholm
Role Description
As a Senior Lead Engineer at Aries Intelligence Nordic AB, you will own the end-to-end technical design and delivery of core platform components and AI-driven features.
In this full-time role based Stockholm, Sweden you will spend most of your time on-site collaborating with product, design, and business stakeholders, while having flexibility to work from home for part of the week. Day-to-day responsibilities include architecting and implementing scalable backend and frontend services, integrating and optimizing large language models, and ensuring secure, robust data flows across on-premise, private cloud, and hybrid environments. You will guide technical decision-making, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and establish engineering best practices that support fast, reliable delivery. The role also involves diagnosing complex production issues, improving performance, and contributing to the long-term technology roadmap in close alignment with clients ensuring high quality output, reliability and strong security requirements
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering and architecture skills, including experience designing and implementing distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML or LLM-based applications, such as integrating model APIs, managing context, and optimizing inference workflows.
- Proficiency with modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or similar) and contemporary web technologies.
- Experience with cloud and infrastructure environments (on-premise, private cloud, or hybrid), containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership in engineering teams, including mentoring, code review, and driving technical standards and high-quality execution.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders and non-technical experts.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Background in enterprise or B2B software, data-intensive systems, or financial/consulting environments is highly beneficial
- High Integrity and high professional standards
- Native Swedish professional proficiency preferred
- Based in Stockholm Sweden
