⏳ Long-term engagement

We are looking for a very experienced Palo Alto Networks Consultant / Engineer at L3-L4 level to join a long-term enterprise security project in Germany.

This is a remote-first engagement, with initial onboarding in Bavaria and occasional on-site customer meetings, workshops, and presentations.

What we need

• Extensive hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks NGFW

• Strong expertise in PAN-OS and Panorama

• Advanced firewall design, implementation and troubleshooting

• Security Policies, NAT, App-ID, User-ID and Security Profiles

• GlobalProtect, IPSec VPN and High Availability

• Threat Prevention, URL Filtering and WildFire

• Strong understanding of routing: BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, VLANs and VRFs

• Firewall migrations, upgrades and optimisation

• Ability to troubleshoot complex L3/L4 network and security environments

• Strong customer-facing and consulting skills

• Ability to lead technical discussions and present solutions to stakeholders

Mandatory

✅ Senior L3/L4 Palo Alto experience

✅ Strong hands-on Panorama experience

✅ German C1 or higher

✅ Professional/fluent English

✅ Excellent communication and presentation skills

✅ Availability for onboarding in Bavaria, Germany

✅ Availability for occasional on-site meetings

✅ Able to start immediately or at short notice

Nice to have

• PCNSE or other Palo Alto certifications

• Prisma Access / Prisma SASE

• SD-WAN

• Ansible / Python / Terraform / API automation

• Large enterprise or data centre experience

⚠️ This is not a junior or mid-level operational role.

We are looking for a consultant who can operate independently at Senior / Lead / L4 level, combine strong hands-on technical expertise with consulting capabilities, and confidently represent the project directly in front of the customer.
