About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Product Manager, Human Resources Artificial Intelligence (AI), to join the Human Resources Transformation & Products team. This strategic role is responsible for shaping and delivering the foundational AI capabilities that enable responsible, scalable AI adoption across HR. The position owns the product vision and roadmap for the HR knowledge platform, including shared services such as taxonomy, semantic and knowledge layers, and knowledge graphs that power AI solutions across HR.

The role partners closely with Foundational AI engineering, HR Product Directors, and enterprise platform teams to connect enterprise AI capabilities with HR needs, determine when to reuse, adapt, or build solutions, and accelerate high-value ideas from discovery to prototype, minimum viable product, and scale. This work enhances employee, manager, and HR experiences while driving innovation across the HR function.

In this role, you will:

  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for foundational AI capabilities that accelerate AI enablement across HR.
  • Lead the development of the HR knowledge platform and other shared AI services, including reusable data and integration capabilities.
  • Evaluate enterprise AI capabilities and decide how to reuse, adapt, or extend them for HR needs, reducing duplication and speeding up delivery.
  • Drive rapid experimentation that moves priority opportunities from concept to prototype and MVP, using evidence and user feedback to guide investment and scale decisions.
  • Own the product backlog and partner with agile delivery teams to plan, sequence, and release platform capabilities.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to HR leaders, identifying complex, high-value business problems and turning them into clear product outcomes, use cases, requirements, and measurable success criteria.
  • Collaborate with engineering, architecture, data science, data management, and enterprise platform teams to design interoperable capabilities and integration patterns, including MCP and related emerging standards.
  • Own prioritization, sequencing, dependencies, and tradeoff decisions across a portfolio of foundational AI capabilities and HR use cases.
  • Work within established product governance and operating routines, balancing speed and innovation with responsible AI, privacy, security, model risk, legal, compliance, and control requirements.
  • Drive adoption of shared capabilities across HR product teams through enablement, onboarding, and clear consumption patterns.
  • Define and monitor adoption, performance, reuse, business value, and risk metrics, and use the insights to improve the platform and inform roadmap decisions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience defining product strategy and roadmaps for AI platforms, shared services, or reusable enterprise capabilities.
  • Experience with AI products, including a strong understanding of generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, retrieval-augmented generation, and enterprise knowledge architecture (knowledge graphs, semantic technologies, taxonomy).
  • Experience taking emerging technology from concept through production, adoption, and scale in a highly regulated enterprise, partnering with risk, legal, privacy, cybersecurity, and compliance teams.
  • Experience with AI interoperability and integration patterns, including orchestration and connections between AI solutions and enterprise tools.
  • Experience evaluating build, buy, reuse, and partnership options and turning technical tradeoffs into clear product and investment recommendations.
  • Experience with HR technology and data ecosystems, such as Workday, ServiceNow HRSD, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms.
  • Ability to translate complex AI concepts into business outcomes and executive communications, influence senior leaders, and drive decisions across matrixed, ambiguous environments.
  • Proven experience leading AI-driven HR initiatives and delivering AI-powered solutions in partnership with data science, engineering, and HR teams.
