Senior Lead System Engineer - Network & Edge

The Role Your role As a technical specialist in the Network domain, you will support customer IT infrastructure transformation by understanding business challenges and proposing optimal network architectures. Working with Sales and Technical Sales teams, you will lead the technical aspects of proposal activities and take responsibility for network modernization and integrated solutions combining Network, Cloud, and Security, contributing to customer value creation from proposal through implementation. What you will do • Gather customer requirements and assess existing network environments • Develop design, build, and migration plans for enterprise network environments • Propose next-generation network solutions such as SD-WAN, SASE, and Zero Trust • Prepare proposals, design documents, and architecture materials • Support Request for Proposal(RFP) responses and deliver technical presentations to customers • Lead technical coordination and stakeholder alignment during projects • Provide ongoing technical support and improvement recommendations after implementation Who You Are Required skills and experience • Experience designing and building enterprise network environments • Knowledge and hands-on experience with LAN, WAN, and data center networks • Technical knowledge of network products such as Cisco • Experience with customer requirement definition and technical discussions • Experience preparing technical proposals, basic design documents, and related materials • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive projects forward • Strong communication skills in Japanese Preferred skills and experience • Experience implementing SD-WAN, SASE, or Zero Trust solutions • Experience designing cloud network environments such as AWS or Azure • Experience designing or implementing network security products • Network certifications such as CCNP or CCIE • Experience leading technical work in large enterprise projects • Experience using English in project delivery or customer communication • Knowledge of network automation or Infrastructure as Code Being You The “Kyn” in Kyndryl means kinship, which represents the strong bonds we have with each other, our customers and our communities.
