Senior Legal Associate in our office in Dubai.


Responsibilities

  • Advising on and providing legal support across a wide range of corporate, commercial and regulatory matters across the business.
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial, corporate, financial services, technology and other agreements, policies and regulatory filings.
  • Supporting licensing, regulatory compliance, governance matters, regulatory investigations and engagement with regulators.
  • Assisting with mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions, including due diligence and transaction documentation.
  • Providing legal support on fund management and investment structures, including mutual funds and protected cell funds.
  • Advising on payment services, PSP matters and fintech.
  • Supporting pre-litigation matters, client disputes of a technical nature and regulatory investigations.
  • Advising on employment and labor law matters, including contracts, policies and workforce issues.
  • Supporting intellectual property protection, brand management and related commercial agreements.
  • Advising on corporate governance and other general legal matters.
  • Monitoring legal and regulatory developments and advising stakeholders on their impact on the business.
  • Collaborating with external counsel, managing outside legal spend and supporting the wider legal team on cross-border matters and projects.


Experience Requirements

  • Qualified lawyer with 3–5 years PQE.
  • Dual fluency in Arabic and English (spoken and written).
  • Training and/or experience at an international or top-tier law firm.
  • Strong legal drafting, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercially minded with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Financial services, brokerage services and capital markets
  • Licensing, regulatory compliance, regulatory affairs and regulatory investigations
  • M&A and corporate transactions
  • Fund management and investment structures, including mutual funds and protected cell funds/companies
  • Payment services, PSPs and fintech
  • SaaS and technology
  • Corporate governance
  • Intellectual property and branding
