Senior Legal Counsel Germany

Bring your energy to Aggreko as Senior Legal Counsel based in Germany (Dorsten, Munich, Frankfurt, Leipzig or Hamburg – Hybrid). You’ll provide pragmatic legal support to Aggreko and its group companies, enabling business growth while effectively managing legal risk. Power without pause. What you’ll do as Senior Legal Counsel: Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements including terms & conditions, supply agreements, power purchase agreements and framework agreements Provide day-to-day legal advice on commercial, regulatory and strategic matters across Germany and wider Europe Support on real estate matters, disputes and corporate documentation, liaising with treasury and company secretarial teams Ensure adherence to contract risk management policies and compliance frameworks Build and manage relationships with external counsel, ensuring strong regional expertise and value for money You are: A qualified German lawyer with 8+ years’ post-qualification experience Highly experienced in commercial law and contract negotiation within energy, infrastructure or related sectors Fluent in German with business-level English (additional European languages are a plus) Commercially minded, pragmatic and able to manage workload independently with sound judgement Experienced working in project-based or regulated environments Here’s what you’ll get: A senior, high-impact role supporting complex energy projects across Europe Hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office Opportunities for career progression within a global organisation Competitive salary and benefits package, including annual leave and bonus opportunities The chance to work closely with senior stakeholders and be a key part of business growth and strategy Our people are can-do, positive, resilient and persistent.
