Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel - 12-month fixed-term contract, UK remote

Exciting opportunity to join the in-house legal team of a global professional services business, working on complex, high value and multijurisdictional commercial and technology contracts.

Our client is a leading global professional services company that sells complex services to large clients in multiple jurisdictions, and the legal team sits at the centre of how those deals get done. You would be working on high value, multijurisdictional commercial agreements where the negotiation actually matters and the counterparties are sophisticated.

The work

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating the full commercial contract suite, MSA's, SOW's, outsourcing and managed services arrangements, framework agreements, and the technology contracts that increasingly sit underneath all of them: software licensing, SaaS, data processing, cloud and systems integration.
• Alongside the deal work there is the advisory layer data protection, intellectual property, risk allocation, liability and indemnity positions. You would be supporting commercial, delivery and procurement teams directly.

Who it suits

• Qualified Solicitor - 5 + years PQE (some flex for a strong backgrouund)
• Solid grounding in commercial law with experience of negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial contracts
• Strong negotiation skills with demonstrable experience of negotiating complex commercial contracts
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal with a broad range of stakeholders
• Ability to work well as part of a cohesive team
