Join BMO's IT Engineering & Operations team and help support and enhance our Digital Library applications. We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Specialist with strong Linux and Windows administration expertise who thrives in complex enterprise environments.

What You'll Do

• Support, maintain, and optimize infrastructure supporting critical Digital Library applications.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows server environments.
• Manage high-availability platforms, clustering, patching, upgrades, and production deployments.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, resolving complex infrastructure issues.
• Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to deliver stable and secure solutions.
• Support automation, cloud, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities.

Required Technical Skills

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration (3-5+ years)
• RHEL 8 Clustering (Pacemaker/Corosync)
• Windows Server 2016+ Administration & Troubleshooting
• Windows SMB Failover Clustering
• Active Directory
• Networking Fundamentals
• IBM WebSphere Application Server Administration & Support

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting highly available production environments.
• Exposure to cloud technologies, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Additional Information

📍 Hybrid Work Model: This role requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.

🔄 Operational Support: Participation in an on-call rotation is required. Occasional evening and weekend deployments and support activities are expected as part of maintaining critical production services.

$70,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaried

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
