D&G is seeking a Logistics Analyst t to provide operational, analytical, and implementation support to defense clients, with a primary focus on the U.S. Space Force (USSF) and the U.S. Air Force (USAF). This role helps government organizations improve mission readiness and enterprise decision-making through research, analysis, planning, and implementation support. The ideal candidate combines operational logistics expertise, analytical rigor, and an innovation mindset to advance logistics capabilities for future air and space operations. This individual brings firsthand experience in both defense and commercial supply chain operations and is equally adept at engaging operators on mission requirements, logisticians on sustainment strategies, and senior leaders on data-driven decisions and strategic outcomes. What You Will Do • Assess current logistics, sustainment, and supply chain operations. • Analyze mission requirements, operational challenges, and capability gaps. • Conduct research on emerging logistics concepts, technologies, and best practices. • Evaluate logistics impacts of future operating concepts and mission scenarios. • Develop data-driven recommendations to improve readiness, responsiveness, and resilience. • Develop and analyze mission threads, operational workflows, and system dependencies. • Support mission engineering activities linking operational objectives to logistics outcomes. • Define measures of effectiveness, performance metrics, and decision criteria. • Conduct trade studies, capability assessments, and operational risk analyses. • Support modeling, simulation, wargaming, and experimentation efforts. • Assess opportunities for process automation and modernization. • Support implementation of digital logistics and supply chain initiatives. • Evaluate data architectures, interoperability requirements, and information flows. • Support integration of advanced analytics, AI-enabled decision support, and predictive logistics capabilities. • Assist clients with digital transformation roadmaps and implementation plans. • Support development of space logistics, mobility, launch, recovery, and sustainment concepts. • Analyze operational support requirements for space mobility and future logistics architectures. • Evaluate logistics implications of emerging space capabilities and commercial partnerships. • Facilitate interviews, working groups, and planning sessions. • Assist with development of white papers, reports, briefings, roadmaps, and strategic plans. • Document methodologies, assumptions, findings, and recommendations. • Deliver client-ready products with minimal supervision. What We Are Looking For Required • Bachelor's degree in a logistics discipline and 15 years tactical-level air cargo candidacy experience. OR • Bachelor's degree in any discipline and 18 years tactical-level air cargo candidacy experience. • At least 3 years of commercial operational logistics experience. • Former military Senior Noncommissioned Officer (NCO) or Department of Defense civilian. • Deep domain expertise in one or more of the following: defense logistics, supply chain management, MRO operations, sustainment analytics, space enterprise, or mission systems integration. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity. Preferred • Preference given to candidates with commercial space launch and other operational logistics experience. • Experience with AI and data analytics solution development for Department of War logistics applications. • Professional certifications such as Air Transportation, PMP, DAWIA/DAU certifications, Agile process improvement, or Human-Centered Design. Clearance and Eligibility • Active TS/SCI clearance required. • This role is restricted to U.S. person(s) (U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
