About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead logistics strategy across a complex, multi-country manufacturing network spanning approximately 30 locations throughout Europe and Africa. As Senior Logistics Manager, EMEA, you will be responsible for optimising transportation, carrier management, logistics technology, and supply chain performance, ensuring products move efficiently, cost-effectively, and reliably across our business.

Working closely with procurement, manufacturing, customer service, planning, and global supply chain teams, you will play a critical role in delivering service excellence to customers while driving meaningful cost savings, operational improvements, and greater visibility across the logistics network.

Success in this role will be measured not only by freight performance and cost optimisation, but by your ability to build strong partnerships, standardise best practices, mitigate risk, embrace technology, and influence logistics strategy at both regional and global levels. This is a highly visible position that offers the opportunity to directly impact business performance, contribute to major transformation initiatives, and help shape the future of logistics across one of the world's leading packaging organisations.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead transportation and logistics operations across the EMEA region, ensuring service, cost, compliance, and performance objectives are achieved.
  • Develop and implement consistent transportation processes and standards across multiple manufacturing and distribution sites.
  • Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Lead carrier sourcing activities, contract negotiations, performance reviews, and logistics optimisation initiatives.
  • Drive transportation cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Support the implementation and optimisation of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics technology solutions.
  • Partner with regional and global stakeholders to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and operational performance.
  • Monitor logistics KPIs and use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Mitigate transportation risks through effective planning, contingency management, and supplier engagement.
  • Represent the EMEA region within the global logistics leadership structure and contribute to international transformation projects.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Significant logistics and supply chain management experience, including leadership responsibility within a complex organisation.
  • Proven experience managing multi-country transportation and logistics operations across Europe.
  • Strong understanding of European transportation networks, customs procedures, trade compliance, VAT, and cross-border logistics.
  • Experience working with ERP and logistics systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDA, or equivalent platforms.
  • Demonstrated success managing carriers, logistics providers, and transportation procurement activities.
  • Excellent analytical, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across multiple functions, locations, and cultures.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across the EMEA region.

Why Join Us

  • Join a global industry leader with a strong track record of growth, innovation, and sustainability.
  • Play a strategic role with significant visibility and influence across the EMEA region.
  • Lead meaningful logistics transformation initiatives that directly impact business performance.
  • Collaborate with experienced colleagues across Europe and around the world.
  • Enjoy opportunities for professional development, career growth, and exposure to global supply chain leadership.
  • Make a tangible contribution to improving service, resilience, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across a major manufacturing network.
