Mantle Legal is a corporate law firm that represents founders and business owners in the sale of the companies they have built. The firm acts exclusively for sellers in mergers and acquisitions across the lower middle market. Mantle's mission is to bring sophisticated sell-side M&A representation to business owners at the most significant financial event of their lives.
Role Description:
This full-time, fully remote position supports Mantle's U.S. attorneys directly on live M&A transactions. Working under the supervision of the attorney leading each deal, you will contribute to the transactional work that moves a matter forward: reviewing contracts and agreements against deal checklists and flagging issues before they reach the attorney, preparing and maintaining disclosure schedules, organizing and managing virtual data rooms, and supporting due diligence workstreams. You will work day to day within the firm's deal tools and workflows. This is substantive corporate and M&A work rather than administrative support and it requires genuine transactional legal experience. You would be involved in its substance working alongside the U.S. deal team throughout each matter.
U.S. Admission:
U.S. admission to a U.S. jurisdiction is an advantage but not a requirement. Candidates licensed outside the United States will work in this role as foreign law clerks under the direct supervision of a U.S.-licensed attorney on every matter.
