Senior Machine Learning Engineer / Data Engineer

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior ML Engineer to own the data and ML pipelines behind two data science workstreams: customer segmentation and lifetime value, and causal inference for marketing. You'll get data out of client environments, build feature stores, and get models scheduled and deployed at billions-of-rows scale.

This is an 8-week, fully remote contract with potential extension to 16 weeks, with the data science and machine learning team at a crafts-based digital product studio backed by a global strategy consulting parent. Spanish is preferred.

Working inside someone else's cloud, with restricted access and tight security, is part of the job. If that doesn't slow you down, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

• Ingest data from client environments into reliable, repeatable pipelines
• Build and manage feature stores that serve both data science workstreams
• Own model scheduling and deployment
• Process billions of transactional records efficiently
• Apply Git and CI/CD practices across data and ML code
• Operate within client cloud environments that have restricted access and security constraints

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience with data ingestion, feature stores, and model scheduling and deployment
• Strong Python and SQL
• Solid Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience processing billions of transactional records
• Comfortable working in locked-down client cloud environments
• Spanish preferred
