Sr Manager, Campus Talent Acquisition – Asia Pacific How will you make an impact in this role? Talent Acquisition (TA) sources and hires top talent for American Express globally, supporting early career, experienced professional, executive hiring, and our New to Blue onboarding experience. The role will report into the Director, Campus Talent Acquisition – India & Asia Pacific. The Senior Manager, Campus TA – APAC is responsible for driving strategic campus recruiting initiatives across Asia Pacific, translating global priorities into effective regional execution. This role requires strong influence across regional and global stakeholders including with business leaders, Colleague Strategic Partners (HR Business Partners), Recruitment Marketing, the Programs Center of Excellence to attract, assess, and hire exceptional early career talent. The role will focus on assessing the current early careers programs in each market and then developing innovative sourcing strategies, strengthening strategic university partnerships, enhancing employer brand presence, and delivering a best-in-class experience for candidates and hiring leaders. The successful candidate will leverage deep market expertise, data-driven insights, and strong cross-functional partnerships to build sustainable talent pipelines and support business growth across the region. Campus Talent Acquisition Strategy Contribute to the development and lead execution of the Campus Talent Acquisition strategy across Asia Pacific in partnership with global and regional leaders as well as the local Talent Acquisition team. Help evolve and optimize the regional Campus Talent Acquisition operating model through insights, continuous improvement, and stakeholder partnership. Partner with global and regional Campus Talent Acquisition leaders to support the development and execution of campus recruiting strategies, operating models, and key initiatives across Asia Pacific Drive alignment between global Campus Talent Acquisition priorities and regional execution, ensuring enterprise initiatives are effectively implemented while responding to local market dynamics. Provide talent market insights and workforce intelligence to business leaders and stakeholders, helping inform early careers hiring strategies and workforce planning decisions. University Partnerships, Employer Brand & Talent Attraction Develop innovative sourcing strategies that strengthen sustainable pipelines of high-quality early career talent across Asia Pacific. Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leading universities, educational institutions, industry organizations, and external partners to enhance American Express' access to top talent. Partner with Recruitment Marketing to develop integrated campus marketing strategies across digital, social, virtual, and in-person channels that elevate employer brand awareness and engagement. Champion the American Express Colleague Value Proposition, positioning the company as an employer of choice for early career talent across the region. Continuously identify new sourcing channels, engagement strategies, and external partnerships to strengthen recruiting outcomes and expand diverse talent pipelines. Operational Excellence & Delivery Lead execution of end-to-end campus recruitment initiatives across Asia Pacific, ensuring consistent, scalable and high-quality hiring outcomes. Leverage data, analytics, and market intelligence to optimize hiring strategies, improve operational performance, and inform strategic decision-making. Drive continuous improvement through process simplification, technology adoption, and scalable recruitment solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure adherence to established governance, operational controls, and risk management practices while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement Measure and continuously improve candidate, hiring leader, and stakeholder experiences while delivering against hiring goals and operational metrics. Enterprise Partnership & Collaboration Build trusted partnerships with business leaders, Colleague Strategic Partners, Recruitment Marketing, Total Rewards & Well-being, the Programs Center of Excellence, and other enterprise stakeholders to deliver integrated early careers solutions. Partner closely with the Campus Programs Center of Excellence to deliver a seamless onboarding and development experience for interns and full-time campus hires. Continuously collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues across the region to ensure holistic sourcing and recruitment strategies. Influence and coordinate cross-functional initiatives across Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, Programs COE, and business stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable early careers solutions. Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice adoption across the region. Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including substantial experience in TA, Campus or Early Careers recruitment across Asia Pacific. Proven success leading complex regional recruiting programs and influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholders, geographies, and business groups. Deep understanding of university recruitment ecosystems across key Asia Pacific markets, with strong knowledge of regional talent trends and competitive landscapes. Strong experience leveraging data, analytics, governance and process excellence to improve recruiting performance and business outcomes. Exceptional executive communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with experience influencing across diverse cultures and global organizations. Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into scalable regional solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes. Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, influence senior leaders, and successfully partner across multiple functions, geographies, and cultures. Preferred Qualifications: Experience driving large-scale Talent Acquisition programs, process transformation initiatives, or operating model enhancements across multiple markets Demonstrated success developing and executing enterprise-wide early careers recruitment strategies across multiple countries and diverse talent markets. Strong client service orientation combined with commercial acumen, sound business judgment, and a results-driven mindset. Demonstrated success influencing and delivering complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple countries, stakeholders, and business groups without direct authority. Strong understanding of employer branding, diversity recruiting, emerging Talent Acquisition technologies, and evolving early careers trends across Asia Pacific. Established network of university, industry, and external talent partners across Asia Pacific, with a proven track record of attracting exceptional early career talent.
