As the Senior Manager, Operations Capability & Capacity, you will serve as the operational backbone of the Qantas Loyalty marketing function. This executive leadership role is responsible for the end-to-end operational engine, platform architecture, and strategic transformation of marketing across Qantas Loyalty and the broader Qantas Group.
You are the primary architect of the end-to-end workflow, ensuring seamless delivery from Marketing Planning & Partnerships (MP&P) into Campaign Management, Media, Analytics, Creative, and Production. You will own the MarTech ecosystem, managing the strategic assessment and optimisation of marketing applications to accelerate personalised member experiences.
As the chief architect of the Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model, you lead the Operations team to maintain and optimise our marketing ecosystem. You are accountable for capacity management, traffic control, and process re-engineering to eliminate friction and maximise campaign velocity, while simultaneously driving large-scale transformation initiatives to future-proof capabilities and protect major revenue streams. You will serve as the primary point of accountability for operational performance, providing clear direction to teams to ensure consistent, integrated campaign delivery.
What You’ll Bring:
- 10-15 + Years’ experience within large, complex, data-led corporate organisations with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role overseeing marketing operations technical project delivery, or platform capability
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related operational field
- The capability to lead a team calmly under high-volume pressure when day-to-day campaign platforms or processes face friction or downtime
- Proven experience managing complex workflow and trafficking operations across multiple teams and functions
- Strong understanding of how Media, Analytics and Creative teams operate and how to brief effectively into each discipline
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement operational frameworks and process improvements that deliver measurable efficiency gains
- Experience building and managing cross-functional relationships at a seniorlevel, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- High analytical capability, with the ability to use data to diagnose operational performance and drive continuous improvement
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across a complex, fast-moving marketing environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate operational complexity intoclear guidance for senior stakeholders
