This role focuses on pricing and supporting all clients, ensuring a sustainable, profitable, and equitable portfolio of financial offers. You will manage the Experience Refund Program (ERP), negotiation of terms, and distribution contracts. You will make business decisions and document exceptions, adhering to pricing policies. How you will create impact: Creating the financial model and projections for new, existing, and request for proposal (RFP) clients and ensuring portfolio profitability is maintained. Presenting client options, and communication results, and assisting in client facing situations. Supporting client business plans as per agreed roadmap by ensuring integrity of buying group reporting and special handles and presenting options for pricing initiatives. Managing Experience Refund Program (ERP) activities, ensuring auditability and appropriate checks are in place to mitigate errors and championing data solutions. Coaching and developing your team, recruiting and selecting talent, managing and rewarding performance, and fostering an agile culture to deliver on strategic objectives. To join our team: You have 3-5 years of experience in insurance product development, pricing, or a related actuarial field. You have a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Business, or Commerce. You have the Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) and Associate of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (ACIA) designations and having or working towards the Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA) designations is an asset. You have expertise in negotiating, reviewing, and implementing client contracts, including strong knowledge of actuarial principles. Expected salary range $114,021 - $164,021+ The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.
