Show job description

Belite Bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical drug development company focused on advancing novel therapeutics targeting retinal degenerative eye diseases with significant unmet medical needs. Built on our proprietary Retinol Binding Protein 4 (RBP4) IP portfolio, our clinical pipeline includes Tinlarebant (LBS-008), an oral therapy currently in late-stage clinical trials (including the Phase 3 DRAGON and PHOENIX studies) for Stargardt disease (STGD1) and Geographic Atrophy (GA) in dry AMD.

At Belite Bio, we are dedicated to developing innovative solutions to treat untreatable conditions and prevent vision loss in patients worldwide. As an early-stage company, we value entrepreneurial thinking, collaboration, accountability and the ability to thrive in fast moving environments.

Position Summary

Belite Bio is hiring a Senior Manager, Commercial Data & Analytics to own day-to-day commercial analytics and data execution in support of the U.S. launch of a novel therapy. This role will be crucial in connecting data across CRM, patient services, specialty pharmacy, and claims to generate actionable insights that drive strategy and execution.

This is a hands-on, build-from-scratch role ideal for someone who thrives in lean environments, partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders, and enjoys turning complex data into clear, decision-ready insights. You will work closely with internal teams and external vendors to design and scale a modern, high-impact analytics capability.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Commercial Analytics & Insights
    • Own and deliver routine and ad hoc commercial analytics supporting launch readiness and post-launch execution.
    • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights across key commercial metrics (e.g., patient journey, access, demand, field effectiveness).
    • Develop and maintain core dashboards and report packages for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  2. Data Integration & Management
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial data across CRM, specialty pharmacy, patient services hubs, 3PL, and claims vendors.
    • Design and manage data flows, definitions, and business rules to ensure consistency, quality, and usability across data sources.
    • Partner with IT, Compliance, and Legal to ensure data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards are met.
  3. Launch & Field Support
    • Support field-facing teams with targeting, segmentation, call planning, and performance analytics.
    • Design performance tracking for sales, account management, and market access teams.
    • Provide analytical support for incentive compensation design, goal setting, and performance evaluation.
  4. Vendor & Partner Management
    • Lead analytics-related relationships with external data and analytics vendors.
    • Define business requirements, review deliverables, and ensure outputs align with commercial priorities.
    • Evaluate new data sources and analytical tools as the business scales.
  5. Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Partnership
    • Partner with Field Force Effectiveness, Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Finance to support planning, forecasting, and strategic initiatives.
    • Contribute to launch planning, scenario modeling, and business reviews with data-backed perspectives.
    • Help establish analytics best practices, documentation, and operating rhythms for a growing organization.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative, business, or scientific field (e.g., analytics, economics, life sciences, engineering).
  • 6+ years of experience in commercial analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven roles within biopharma, specialty pharma, or healthcare.
  • Hands-on experience working with U.S. commercial data sources (e.g., CRM, claims, specialty pharmacy, hub data).
  • Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience using BI and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Excel).
  • Proven ability to independently manage projects end-to-end in a lean or high-growth environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate data into clear business insights.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a new product launch, rare disease, or specialty therapeutic area.
  • Familiarity with patient services, access and reimbursement, and specialty pharmacy workflows.
  • Prior experience working at or with early-stage or pre-commercial biotech companies.
  • Experience partnering with external analytics or data aggregation vendors.

Attributes for Success

  • Builder mindset: Comfortable creating structure where none exists and evolving analytics as the business grows.
  • Highly adaptable: Thrives in ambiguity and can shift priorities quickly in a dynamic launch environment.
  • Business-oriented: Focused on impact, not just analysis; understands how insights drive decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strategic perspective: Comfortable operating at both tactical and executive levels.
  • Collaborative: Strong cross-functional partner who builds trust and influences without authority.
  • Accountable and hands-on: Willing to roll up sleeves and own deliverables end to end.
