About Lovevery: Lovevery is a direct-to-consumer startup co-founded by successful serial entrepreneurs and based in Boise, Idaho. Our customers are parents, and our mission is to help them feel confident they are giving their children meaningful development experiences in the critical early years of life. Taking a science-based approach, Lovevery products have won awards from Red Dot, Parents’ Choice, and NAPPA.

The Role: We are looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A to ensure that we make sound financial decisions. Your work is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

In this role, you’ll lead high-priority projects for the executive team and own the overall Lovevery P&L, working closely with teams across the company to ensure accurate reporting and flag risks early. You’ll become a trusted partner and go-to resource across Lovevery, sharing insights, improving processes, and championing best practices. You’ll also prepare analyses that help leadership allocate resources, prioritize capital investments, and track performance across business cycles.

This role is a great opportunity to support the investment requirements for our latest innovations and product releases. You will be a well-rounded performer with analytical rigor and strategic thinking to lead high-visibility deliverables. The success of FP&A is in providing intelligent insights to leadership to optimize Lovevery’s trajectory.

This role will report to the Senior Vice President, Finance & Corporate Development.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage full-cycle budget planning and reporting with functional group leaders.
  • Assist with reporting and developing presentation materials for Board of Directors meetings and other executive leadership meetings.
  • Develop and participate in processes such as long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasts.
  • Implement repeatable operating protocols and systems that enhance financial rigor, enable more thinking and less data manipulation, and bring controls yet allow for the nimbleness and investment needed at a fast-growing company.

About You:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; MBA or CPA a plus
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, management consulting, or investment banking, including meaningful time in FP&A at a high-growth or consumer company
  • Comfort and experience with NetSuite and Omni a plus; experience with using SQL to extract and manipulate data preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of finance functions, including operations, accounting, processes, risks and controls
  • Ability to communicate and influence effectively at executive level, with excellent business judgment and strategic thinking
  • Effective financial modeling skills, understanding trends, developing insights and preparing recommendations
  • Excellent analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Advanced financial modeling and Excel skills; strong PowerPoint and Google Workspace skills
  • Ability and genuine excitement to partner with and advise business leaders
  • Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, analysis, and financial reporting
  • Ability to work independently, effectively handle multiple competing priorities and manage deadlines under pressure
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in a fast paced, evolving environment
