In this role, you’ll lead pricing strategy, portfolio insights and pricing capability development to support profitable growth and smarter underwriting decisions across the region. You’ll work closely with Underwriting, Pricing, Product and IT teams to turn data into practical actions, enhance QBE’s digital pricing platforms and make a meaningful impact on how we serve SME customers. Your New Role: Support the development of the Asia SME Underwriting strategy Lead pricing reviews and develop dynamic pricing capabilities with the Asia Pricing team Develop and lead the implementation of pricing strategies Lead portfolio management and build a balanced and profitable portfolio Develop and maintain portfolio dashboard to track performance and underwriting actions working with cross-functional teams Support the development of new products and update of existing products Work with Underwriting and IT teams to implement pricing changes in QBE proprietary platform “Qnect” Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance Straight Through Processing (STP) flow e.g. underwriting rules, User Experience Assist in the preparation of pricing governance exhibits, including trackers and reports for Pricing Working Group (PWG) meetings. Participate in PWG meetings by reviewing and interpreting reported data Support the review of actuarial pricing models to ensure adherence to policies and data integrity Contribute to data collation for divisional and regulatory reporting. Collaborate with other Pricing Actuaries and Product Heads to support pricing platform usage Generate management information and reports on rate adequacy and related metrics Partner with Underwriting teams to provide analytical support on portfolio insights Assist in the maintenance of pricing models in line with Divisional Pricing Standards About You: A team player with very good interpersonal skill Experience working in related project and strong stakeholder management skills (strong influence & communication skills) Experience working in the Actuarial Pricing, preferably with at least five years of work experience in general insurance actuarial/pricing function Good progress in actuarial qualifications with either US, UK, or Australia Actuarial Institute Experience in a multinational financial services business Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Benefits We offer a range of benefits to help provide holistic support for your work life, whatever your circumstances.
