The Sr. Manager, Pricing is responsible for leading strategic pricing initiatives across Aldevron and IDT, driving pricing governance, commercial pricing optimization, pricing operations, and continuous improvement programs that support revenue growth and profitability. This role serves as a key business partner across Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and Leadership teams to develop scalable pricing processes, improve pricing effectiveness, and enable informed commercial decision-making.

This position reports to the Director, Pricing and Contracts, is part of the Commercial Excellence Organization, and is fully REMOTE.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead pricing and discount governance strategies that drive profitable growth while balancing customer needs, market dynamics, and business objectives.
  • Own and continuously improve pricing governance processes, including pricing policies, discount controls, approval workflows, commercial compliance, and supporting systems and tools.
  • Develop pricing analytics, dashboards, and reporting to provide actionable insights into pricing performance, margin realization, discounting trends, and revenue optimization opportunities.
  • Serve as the organization's pricing subject matter expert, providing guidance on pricing strategy, list price management, commercial negotiations, promotional programs, and customer-specific pricing decisions.
  • Lead cross-functional transformation initiatives focused on pricing operations, process standardization, automation, commercial effectiveness, and technology enhancements that improve scalability and business performance.

The essential requirements of the job include

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree in analytics preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in pricing, commercial operations, finance, contracts, sales operations, or a related business function.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies, pricing models, discount governance, or commercial pricing programs.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving Commercial, Finance, Product Management, Operations, and/or Marketing stakeholders.
  • Experience using analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to use data, financial analysis, and business insights to drive decision-making and process improvement.

Travel Requirements:

  • This position requires up to 15% flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Biotechnology, life sciences, CDMO, pharmaceutical, or other regulated industries.
  • Pricing, CRM, ERP, CPQ, or commercial workflow systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Danaher Business System (DBS) methodologies.

The annual salary range for this role is $130,000.00-150,000.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
