Responsibilities

The Sr Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for leading strategic product and portfolio initiatives that drive business growth, market expansion, and long-term competitive advantage. This role serves as a senior individual contributor responsible for developing clinically grounded marketing messaging and translating approved clinical evidence into clear, differentiated commercial positioning; leading marketing strategy and execution for commercially aligned symposia and congress-related programs, in partnership with Medical Education and Scientific Communications; tracking, analyzing, and synthesizing competitive clinical data and market developments to inform commercial implications and messaging opportunities, in partnership with Global Marketing; and partnering with Scientific Communications to ensure publication and congress data activities are appropriately reflected in commercial messaging strategy and field readiness.

The Sr Manager partners with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to translate approved clinical evidence, market insights, and competitive intelligence into clear, differentiated marketing strategies and data-driven content. This role serves as a clinical marketing business partner, shaping commercial positioning and field-ready messaging, providing marketing input into publication and congress planning as appropriate, and driving cross-functional alignment to strengthen portfolio positioning and commercialization strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development and execution of clinical marketing strategies that translate clinical evidence, market insights, and business priorities into differentiated portfolio messaging.
  • Develop and maintain clinically grounded marketing messaging that translates approved clinical evidence into clear, data-driven, compliant, and differentiated portfolio positioning.
  • Create and support clinically focused marketing content, including evidence summaries, data-driven messaging tools, congress materials, field-facing resources, and customer-facing assets.
  • Lead marketing strategy and execution for commercially aligned symposia and congress-related programs, including topic alignment, compliant content pull-through, and faculty coordination support in partnership with Medical Education, Scientific Communications, Physician Engagement and Legal/Compliance.
  • Track, analyze, and synthesize competitive clinical data, peer-reviewed publications, congress presentations, and market developments to inform commercial implications, messaging opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with Scientific Communications to provide commercial input into publication and congress planning, as appropriate, and ensure emerging clinical evidence is reflected accurately in marketing strategy, field readiness, and internal alignment.
  • Partner with Global Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory, Clinical, Legal, and Commercial teams to ensure clinical messaging, claims, and educational content are accurate, aligned, and execution-ready.
  • Support commercial teams with clinically grounded messaging, evidence interpretation, objection handling, and competitive response materials that enable customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, clinical experts, and key opinion leaders to inform evidence-based messaging, education priorities, and market development opportunities.
  • Monitor clinical trends, treatment guidelines, competitor evidence, and customer insights to identify opportunities to strengthen portfolio differentiation and clinical value communication.
  • Lead high-visibility, cross-functional clinical marketing initiatives and influence decision-making across multiple levels of the organization without direct authority.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, commercialization, sales, engineering, or related field.
  • Combined years of experience and education considered.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing portfolio strategies, commercialization plans, or product roadmaps that drive business growth.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex product launches, strategic initiatives, or market development programs.
  • Strong experience conducting market assessments, customer research, and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Experience developing business cases, forecasting models, pricing strategies, or commercial recommendations.
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience evaluating business performance and investment opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead large-scale cross-functional initiatives without direct reporting authority.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Healthcare, or related discipline.
  • Experience in medical device, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Experience supporting global and regional portfolio strategies.
  • Experience partnering with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience leading new product development, commercialization, or business development initiatives.
  • Experience supporting cardiovascular, vascular, interventional, or procedural-based product portfolios.
