A Brief Overview

The Senior Manager, Strategic Planning and Execution plans and executes all aspects of business management processes to ensure leadership is informed and positioned to deliver on strategic and operational objectives.

Establishes and leverages internal systems to deliver seamless information sharing and communication among leadership team.

This role is hybrid and only candidates that can work 3 days a week in the Chicago office will be considered.


What you will do

  • Leads strategic and operating goal development in alignment with long term strategic planning and Enterprise objectives.
  • Helps develop a strategic planning framework that defines timelines, milestones, and metrics in support of business objectives.
  • Develops and executes a matrixed management process to align cross functional leaders and inform Enterprise-level management processes.
  • Manage timelines, agendas, and action items from management process to ensure appropriate attendees, materials, and follow-up items are prepared and delivered in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with VP+ leaders and key process owners to ensure development of materials and messaging to support management processes, including strategic checkpoints, financial reviews, operational reviews, and investor relations.
  • Support senior executive relationship meetings with client/prospect intel and market information.
  • Collaborate across Pharmacy Services, Finance, Communications, Marketing, HR, Legal, and Government Affairs to share information and ensure execution of key business priorities
  • Monitor progress towards strategic and operational goals and prioritize critical issues for leadership action.
  • Provide project management on selected high priority initiatives in support of business goals.

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in a project management role
  • Adept at execution and delivery (planning, delivering, and supporting) skills
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Adept at problem solving and decision making skills
  • Adept at growth mindset (agility and developing yourself and others) skills
  • Adept at business intelligence

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a healthcare environment
  • Experience engaging with executive leadership on strategic initiatives

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred/specialized training/relevant professional qualification.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
