Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist

Position Overview
Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Senior Marketing and Communications Specialist to support the Energy & Environment (E&E) team. In this role, you will lead the creation, design, and execution of internal and external communications efforts aligned with our integrated Marketing and Communications strategies. This remote role requires a blend of creative design, strategic marketing planning, multimedia production, and web development.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic planning & analytics: Provide critical support in developing the fiscal year Marketing and Communications (MARCOM) strategic plan for Environmental Services and campaigns. Analyze performance metrics and deliver data-driven strategic recommendations for communication tactics.
• Graphic design & layout: Execute high-quality graphic layout and design for diverse marketing and communication materials, including posters and newsletters. Manage subject matter expert (SME) revisions and prepare final production files.
• Web & interactive development: Support the design, development, layouts, and ongoing maintenance for the E&E presence on Amentum.com, utilizing specialized environments. Create interactive developments to boost user engagement.
• Social media & digital content: Drive the development, implementation, and long-term strategy for social media platforms.
• Multimedia production: Author, create, and edit video, audio, and animation assets to enhance digital storytelling efforts.
• Production & vendor management: Oversee the end-to-end production management process. Research and coordinate with external vendors, secure quotes, manage timelines, and ensure the on-time delivery of final products.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior-level marketing, graphics, or communications role.
• Strong expertise in graphic design, layout, artwork, and final production file preparation.
• Experience with web content management and coding/layout systems (experience with Javelin platforms preferred).
• Demonstrated capability in video, audio, and animation creation/editing.
• Solid understanding of social media strategy, execution, and metric analysis.
• Excellent vendor management skills, with experience sourcing quotes and managing production timelines.
• Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.

Position Type: Full-Time (minimum of 30 hours)

Compensation Details:

$90-$110/hour

The compensation range or hourly rate listed for this position is provided as a good-faith estimate of what the company intends to offer for this role at the time this posting was issued. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
