SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER

This role is for a remote Senior Marketing Manager focused on strategy, planning, and project management for Marcus & Millichap Corporate Marketing. The position involves developing marketing campaigns, working with internal stakeholders to define project scope and goals, managing cross-functional projects, and partnering with the design team to ensure materials are well-designed and on-brand. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of marketing or communications experience, strong project management and people leadership skills, attention to detail, and experience with print, digital, email, social media, marketing automation, and project management tools. Commercial real estate experience and familiarity with Asana are strong pluses.


The base salary range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000 per year. Actual pay will be determined by factors such as education, experience, and job-related skills relevant to the role. Marcus & Millichap is a multi-state employer and posted salary ranges are provided in good faith for compliance with all relevant pay-transparency regulations. The Senior Marketing Manager will work in a cross-functional team environment on a variety of marketing and communication projects with specific focus on strategy, planning and project management for Marcus & Millichap Corporate Marketing.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• Develop marketing campaigns supporting strategic corporate services and programs.
• Work with internal clients to understand and document scope and requirements for new projects.
• Must have experience using a variety of marketing tools including both print and digital media, advertising, email, social media, marketing automation, project management, et al.
• Work closely with the Marketing Director and design team to ensure materials are well designed and on-brand.
• Meet with internal stakeholders to understand their goals and priorities to develop strategic marketing plans that align with those goals.
• Must have or will be expected to become knowledgeable about the general Commercial Real Estate industry including terminology.
• Individual must have a positive, customer-focused demeanor, an eye for detail, precision and accuracy.
• Has ability to work successfully within a high production volume environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising or Business.
• 10+ years of experience in a Marketing or Communications role is required. In-house marketing department or ad agency background is a plus. Commercial Real Estate industry experience is a strong plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills with previous experience demonstrating a dedication to the success of peers and willingness to train/mentor others.
• Personality type that seeks innovative ways to improve processes, products, and client experience.
• Must be able to manage projects from start to completion within the given timeframe.
• Excellent computer and internet skills are essential.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required. Experience with Asana is a strong plus.
