Role Description The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (French speaker) role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Giza, with the flexibility to perform some work from home. This role involves leading mechanical and machine design projects, from concept through detailed engineering and validation. The engineer will create and review product designs, develop 3D and 2D models using CAD tools, and ensure designs meet performance, safety, and manufacturability requirements. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation, analyzing design data and test results, and presenting project updates to stakeholders in both French and English. The role also includes mentoring junior engineers, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and contributing technical expertise to client-facing discussions.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with the ability to apply engineering principles to complex design challenges.
- Demonstrated expertise in Design Engineering and Machine Design, including the development and optimization of mechanical systems and components.
- Proficiency in Product Design, with experience taking concepts from requirements definition through prototyping and implementation.
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or similar) for 3D modeling and detailed drawings.
- Fluency in French and strong working proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly in both languages.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Relevant experience in a senior or lead mechanical design role, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or product development environments.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setting in Giza, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
