The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and evaluating LNG Tank specifications and data sheets and will lead LNG Tank design and evaluation. Join us in this part-time flexible 'on-call' role. Duties & Responsibilities include: Review of LNG Tank deliverables such as data sheets, specifications, material requisitions, etc.; LNG Tank design and evaluation; Coordinate assigned work with other technical personnel as required; Review design documents of equipment manufacturer’s or subcontractors, and prepare comments and recommendations accordingly; Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by other engineers / specialists or by suppliers; Familiar with all engineering department procedures and their application to projects; Knowledge of design standards and guides applicable to the LNG Storage Tank; and Participate in and fosters a work environment that is based upon openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction. A recognized mechanical engineering degree from an accredited university and registration as a Professional Engineer. 10 to 15 years of relevant LNG Storage Tank design experience Experience in LNG project pressure equipment or in an operating LNG plant is considered an asset.
