Senior Media Buyer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Media Buyer with a Google Ads specialization to lead our Google strategy while serving as a core, hands-on contributor across Meta and a strategic partner across all paid media channels. In this role, you will combine execution, leadership, internal enablement, and client-facing strategy support.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end strategy, optimization, and execution of Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube.
• Build scalable media strategies that align with budget allocations, client goals, and full-funnel KPIs (LTV, ROAS, MER, CAC).
• Lead scaling decisions, budget allocation, and forecasting across accounts.
• Audit, maintain, and set up attribution and tracking using Shopify, conversion APIs, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Act as a hands-on senior media buyer managing full-funnel campaign structures for Meta Ads.
• Collaborate with creative strategists to guide iteration cycles, testing frameworks, and Meta ad concepts.
• Analyze Meta performance to drive optimizations across bidding, structures, creatives, and audiences.
• Ensure strong alignment between Meta and Google strategies to maximize blended performance.
• Lead and coordinate internal Google Ads training sessions for media buyers and account teams.
• Document and develop Google Ads testing methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
• Support the upskilling and onboarding of mid-level and junior media buyers.
• Serve as the internal Google Ads subject-matter expert for escalations and audits.
• Translate performance data into structured testing roadmaps and actionable insights across channels.
• Partner with creative and CRO teams to inform landing page optimization, ad strategy, and conversion improvements.
• Proactively surface strategic recommendations, opportunities, and insights to clients across all paid media channels.
• Attend client calls to support cross-channel planning or paid media strategy (Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon) and communicate clearly with clients and account managers.
  

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience scaling and managing Meta Ads and Google Ads.
• 5+ years of hands-on eCommerce brands.
• Professional proficiency in English, verbal and written.
• Strong experience across Meta full-funnel strategies as well as Google Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and YouTube.
• A deep understanding of performance marketing principles, CRO, and eCommerce funnels.
• Advanced knowledge of analytics, tracking, and attribution.
• Proficiency with ad platforms, Shopify, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics.
• Fluency in English.
• A highly accountable, strategic, and autonomous working style.
  

Desired skills

• Previous agency background.
• Google Analytics or Google Ads certifications.
• Experience training or mentoring media buyers.
• Experience scaling accounts that spend between $50K and $250K+ per month.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Slack, and ClickUp.
  

Working conditions

• Job schedule: Monday to Friday, full-time.
