Job Summary The Senior Media Strategist will lead integrated media strategy for complex client engagements, connecting audience, business objectives, channels, budget, and measurement to create effective media plans. This role works closely with clients and internal teams from strategy through activation and optimization, bringing strong media expertise, sound judgment, and a clear point of view. The ideal candidate is a strategic media thinker who can independently lead complex work and client relationships, turn data into clear recommendations, and bring new thinking to media strategy. They should also be a strong partner to the broader team—sharing expertise, mentoring others, and helping strengthen how we approach media at Ologie. Key Responsibilities Lead paid media strategy for complex, multi-channel campaigns with budgets from hundreds of thousands to multi-million dollars. Develop integrated strategies that align audience, objectives, messaging, channels, budget, timing, and measurement - from discovery through launch and optimization. Evaluate market, audience, and competitive trends to identify opportunities, including emerging channels, technologies, and partnerships. Determine channel and budget allocation based on objectives, audience behavior, and performance, keeping strategies executable within budget and timing. Lead conversations on recommendations, performance, and emerging opportunities - translating complex media concepts for audiences of varying expertise. Proactively surface issues and opportunities, and navigate competing priorities and multiple stakeholders without losing strategic focus. Partner with media operations, coordinators, and vendors to turn strategy into execution - reviewing plans, targeting, budgets, pacing, and optimizations. Communicate and negotiate with media vendors and partners. Drive data-informed optimization through the campaign lifecycle, ensuring execution matches strategy, client expectations, and process. Partner with media coordinators to build client-facing reporting that turns performance and business data into actionable insight. Lead performance presentations and strategic readouts, connecting channel metrics to the bigger campaign and business picture. Establish clear measurement frameworks and KPIs for complex campaigns. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities 5+ years of relevant paid media, media planning, or integrated marketing experience, preferably agency-side. Have demonstrated experience independently leading large-scale, multi-channel paid media campaigns with significant budgets. Have experience managing complex client relationships and serving as a senior strategic advisor. Have deep knowledge of digital and traditional media across paid social, programmatic display, video/CTV, audio, search, out of home, print, and emerging media channels. Have experience developing integrated media strategies that connect paid media to broader marketing and organizational objectives. Have strong understanding of audience strategy, targeting, media buying, optimization, measurement, and attribution. Have experience working with data aggregation, visualization, and reporting platforms such as TapClicks. Are proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.). Have experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics; relevant certifications are preferred. Have experience with running paid campaigns across social platforms, including Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, and familiarity with additional social and emerging platforms. Are comfortable evaluating new media opportunities, vendors, technologies, and tactics. Possess excellent critical thinking, communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ologie is a remote-friendly organization, with employees working from home, from our Columbus, Ohio office, or a combination of both. For this role, candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central time zones, or in the greater Columbus, Ohio area. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000. Your final salary will be determined based on your training, relevant experience, and location. This position requires up to 10% travel, primarily in support of client, industry, and internal events.
