Senior Medical Writer

Client & Team Interactions

• Serve as a scientific expert to clients
• Provide scientific expertise during pitches, meetings, and discussions with client and team
• Oversee Projects: In collaboration with CS, monitor efficiency of projects and process
• Create high quality content and execute exceptional research to support internal and external projects
• Serve as MSS lead for designated projects: create content and manage assigned tasks
• Build relationship with clients through regular and consistent engagement on calls or in meetings: Be Proactive and Solution-Oriented
• Reviews timeline for agreement
• Ensure capacity is met as directed by manager and proactively reaches out to manager or team members to support when under capacity: Be supportive
• The ability to reason and problem solve from multiple perspectives and help resolution of situations that arise between team members/cross account teams

Business Development

• Provide scientific and market guidance and support in writing scientific portions of proposals
• Conduct research and identify key strategic imperatives for pitches and/or proposals
• Recommend strategic and tactical ideas and points of view of market events with the client services team to foster organic growth
• Collaborate with Client Services regularly to discuss tactical brand needs and future planning

Staffing

• Identify key areas of need and discuss solutions with CAT lead
• May assist with interviews and provide feedback on potential hires as needed
• May train new team members on specific tasks and assist in addressing challenges within the MSS team
• Provide subject matter leadership and encourage/develop team-centric staff
• May serve as a Peer Mentor to new hires as appropriate
• Help support and integrate new members of Petauri

Company

• Ensure company culture, policies, and standards of performance are met
• Communicate and maintain trust relationships with team members and clients
• Act as a public speaker and public relations representative of the company in ways that strengthen its profile
• Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions

Advanced terminal degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in an agency, the pharmaceutical industry, or a related scientific or medical writing position in oncology or hematology. Proven ability to work independently.
