Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM / Advanced WMS Functional Consultant – 3PL (m/f/d)

I am currently supporting an international project and wanted to reach out regarding two opportunities for experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM / Advanced Warehouse Management Consultants.

The project is focused on D365 Advanced Warehouse Management in a 3PL environment and includes international rollout and implementation activities across several locations.

We are looking for consultants who can combine strong hands-on D365 warehouse expertise with a solid understanding of operational 3PL processes.

We currently have two setups available:

• Full-time: 100% (Lead Role or Solution Architect)
• Part-time: 60% / 3 days per week (Functional Consultant)

Project setup

• Start: ASAP
• Duration: March 2027, extension possible
• Location: Remote
• Travel: Willingness to travel to the USA, South Africa, and Germany (to be defined, needs to be discussed)
• Language: Fluent English required; German and/or Italian are a plus

Main responsibilities

• Analyse, design and optimise warehouse and 3PL processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 SCM
• Lead or support functional solution design for Advanced Warehouse Management
• Configure and enhance D365 warehouse processes based on business requirements and best practices
• Support warehouse setup, testing, migration, go-live and hypercare activities
• Work closely with business stakeholders, key users, technical teams and other project streams
• Support international rollout activities and ensure consistent implementation of agreed warehouse processes

Required skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
• Deep functional knowledge of Advanced Warehouse Management
• Proven 3PL Warehouse Management experience
• Strong understanding of end-to-end warehouse processes, including inbound, outbound, picking, packing, replenishment, inventory and shipping
• Experience with functional solution design, warehouse configuration, fit-gap analysis and D365 implementation or rollout projects
• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing skills
• Experience in retail, food, cold chain or cold storage environments would be an additional advantage.
