Senior Millwork Estimator

Posted Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 8:00 AM ISEC is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator with a strong background in architectural millwork and custom woodworking to join our team. In this remote role, you will partner with operations, project management, and business development teams to develop accurate, competitive estimates for complex millwork projects within a designated region. The ideal candidate combines technical estimating expertise, a deep understanding of millwork construction methods, and a commitment to delivering high-quality proposals that contribute to project and business success. Position Summary Obtains, calculates and compiles data for use in conceptual/bid proposal estimates, preparing routine estimates under general supervision. Duties & Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring that all quantity surveys and pricing are accurate and complete Provide support for the development of bidding strategies by debriefing the salesperson of job elements Leads the documentation management of the project, ensures all documents are complete and clearly conveys decisions made to sales and operations teams. Attend pre-bid meetings to discuss project specifics and scope Participate in bid closings and estimate reviews Balance workload and assignments to meet deadlines Develop a value analysis study by defining alternatives to the proposed scope that are more cost-efficient Manage action items from Post Bid and finalize ISEC scope. Compute cost estimates for materials, purchased equipment, subcontracted work, production activities and requirements, and labor.
