We are looking for a Senior Murex Front Office Consultant to join our growing Murex practice. This role is primarily focused on delivering Front Office business analysis, functional design, stakeholder engagement, and platform enhancement initiatives across the Murex MX.3 platform. In addition, the successful candidate will provide production support expertise, helping ensure the stability and efficient operation of key Front Office processes.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between Front Office business stakeholders and technology teams
- Gather, analyse, document, and validate business requirements for Murex MX.3 implementations and enhancements
- Conduct workshops with traders, risk managers, and business users to understand processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Configure and support Front Office functionality across modules including Trade Capture, Pricing & Valuation, P&L, E-Tradepad, Market Data
- Support testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression testing, and release validation
- Drive process optimisation and automation initiatives across Front Office operations
- Provide functional support for Front Office users across the Murex platform
- Investigate and resolve production issues relating to trade capture, valuations, market data, risk calculations, and interfaces
- Serve as a point of escalation for complex business and functional incidents
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience working with Murex platform
- Strong understanding of Front Office business processes on Murex
- Experience working across a range of Front Office Murex modules such as Trade Capture, Pricing & Valuation, P&L, E-Tradepad, Market Data
- Experience across various asset classes/products such Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Commodities, Credit, or Rates products
- Experience working with Front Office stakeholders including traders and desk users
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience supporting testing and release activities across project lifecycles
