Senior Network Engineer (Voice Transport & Cisco DC)

We are hiring a Senior Voice Transport & Cisco Data Center Network Engineer for a renowned Global Automotive Client on a 1-year extendable contract role (remote, Singapore). In the role, you will be responsible for end-to-end design, deployment and support of Voice Transport, Unified Communications and Cisco Data Center networks across manufacturing plants and corporate sites worldwide.

Overview: The role is for a self-motivated individual with deep expertise in enterprise networking, Cisco Collaboration and Cisco ACI. The candidate will be extensively involved in hands-on activities including design, documentation, implementation, optimization and troubleshooting of voice and data center networks. Candidate must be agile and flexible with changing priorities based on the team's needs, and comfortable working with global stakeholders.

What you'll do:

• You design, deploy and support voice transport systems including SIP, RTP, SBCs, PRI gateways and VoIP infrastructure across global sites
• You manage and optimize Cisco Collaboration platforms (CUCM, CUBE, Unity, IM&P), including dial plans, call routing, QoS policies, codec strategies and voice quality SLAs
• You architect and operate Cisco ACI fabrics (multi-pod/multi-site) and Nexus platforms (9K/7K/5K) using vPC, VXLAN, EVPN and spine-leaf architectures
• You lead L2/L3 network design using BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF and advanced routing policies, and integrate voice with WAN, SD-WAN and cloud telephony platforms
• You implement segmentation, micro-segmentation and security policies (ACLs, encryption) in line with enterprise cybersecurity and compliance standards
• You manage DNS/DHCP/IPAM platforms (Infoblox preferred), and develop HLD/LLD, network diagrams, test plans and operational runbooks
• You drive incident resolution, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement, and support DC migrations, new plant deployments, capacity planning and disaster recovery readiness

What you'll need:

• 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience with a strong focus on voice transport and Cisco Data Center
• Hands-on expertise with Cisco ACI, Nexus platforms and DC fabric technologies (vPC, VXLAN, EVPN)
• Strong experience with VoIP, SIP, SBCs, CUCM, CUBE and voice quality optimization
• Deep understanding of routing protocols, QoS, multicast and network performance engineering
• Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP/IPAM
• Proven experience supporting large-scale, multi-site enterprise networks (manufacturing/automotive preferred)
• Strong documentation and architecture skills, with the ability to lead technical delivery, mentor engineers and manage vendors
• Preferred certifications: CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise, Data Center or Collaboration), Cisco ACI Specialist, Collaboration/UC certifications
