Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer (Cisco ACI) Zurich Region | Hybrid Are you an experienced Network Engineer who enjoys designing highly available enterprise infrastructure rather than simply keeping the lights on? I'm currently supporting a well-established Swiss enterprise operating one of Switzerland's most complex and business-critical IT environments. This is an opportunity to join a highly skilled engineering team responsible for a large-scale, mission-critical network infrastructure where reliability, security and innovation are equally important. This is an engineering-focused position with significant ownership of a modern Cisco Data Center environment, offering the opportunity to shape the future network architecture over the coming years. Your Responsibilities Design and implement enterprise Data Center Network solutions Take technical ownership of a large Cisco ACI environment Engineer secure, scalable and highly available network infrastructure Drive network automation initiatives using technologies such as Ansible and Git Design and maintain Load Balancer infrastructure Produce technical concepts, architecture documentation and operational standards Provide expert 3rd Level Support for complex networking issues Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately one week every two months, with most interventions handled remotely) What We're Looking For 7+ years of Network Engineering experience Strong Cisco Enterprise networking background Hands-on Cisco ACI experience (essential) Experience with enterprise Data Center Networks Strong understanding of: Routing & Switching Network Security Load Balancing LAN / WLAN High Availability Experience with automation tools such as: Ansible Git Strong architectural and troubleshooting skills Fluent German (minimum C1) Good English Nice to Have Enterprise campus networking Service Provider networking Infrastructure-as-Code Automation mindset What's On Offer Hybrid working Flexible working hours 5 weeks holiday with additional holiday purchase options Excellent training and professional development support Comprehensive wellbeing and sports programme Public transport contribution Parking options available Staff discounts across restaurants, shops and other facilities Outstanding employee events and long-service rewards Friendly, collaborative engineering culture with flat hierarchies Why This Opportunity?
