In Argentina (Remote / Hybrid) within the IT & Software Engineering industry, we are actively seeking a Senior or Semi-Senior Backend Developer to strengthen our team dedicated to building scalable, high-performance digital solutions and robust microservices architectures.

In your role you'll become a vital member in a team of skilled professionals, including software engineers, architects, and product specialists focused on delivering modern, event-driven systems. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and optimizing high-throughput backend services using Node.js and AWS infrastructure. Here you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to global technological progress while at the same time advancing your own skills and career.

This is you

• Solid experience as a Backend Developer working with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern frameworks like NestJS or Express.
• Hands-on expertise with Event-Driven Architecture and messaging platforms (specifically Apache Kafka) for asynchronous processing.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud infrastructure and containerization, particularly AWS (Lambdas, EKS / Kubernetes, Multi-Region) and Docker.
• Proven experience working with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis.
• Solid understanding of core architectural principles, including Clean Architecture, SOLID, DDD, and Microservices.
  
  

Nice-to-have Skills:

• Experience using Serverless Framework.
• Familiarity with AI-Assisted Engineering tools (such as Claude Code or GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development workflows.
• Previous experience in global projects or distributed remote teams.
  
  

This is your role

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Node.js backend services and APIs.
• Implement clean code principles, event-driven patterns, and scalable microservices architectures.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, cloud engineers, and product managers to deliver end-to-end features.
• Ensure optimal system performance, code quality, and integration of automated testing and deployment pipelines.
