Job Summary: Responsible for overseeing and managing the shipment of goods across international and domestic supply chains. This role ensures that freight is transported efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. The coordinator works closely with customers, carriers, agents, customs brokers, and internal teams to manage logistics, documentation, and problem resolution. Key Responsibilities: 1. Freight Coordination & Shipment Management Plan, schedule, and coordinate shipments via air, ocean, and ground transportation. Ensure smooth execution of shipments from origin to destination while monitoring transit times and delivery deadlines. Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customer to manage shipping schedules and resolve any issues. Track and update shipment status, providing customers with timely updates. 2. Documentation & Compliance Prepare and review shipping documentation, including waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Ensure all import and export documentation meets regulatory and customs requirements. Work closely with customs brokers to facilitate clearance and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation, and freight charges. Operational invoice customers 3. Customer Service & Client Relations Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring excellent customer service and timely communication. Address customer inquiries, provide shipment updates, and resolve any transport-related issues. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to support long-term partnerships. 5. Problem-Solving & Risk Management Identify potential delays or issues in freight movement and implement corrective actions. Handle disputes, damages, and claims with carriers and insurance providers. Ensure shipments are properly insured and risk mitigation strategies are in place. 6. Coordination with Internal Teams Work closely with sales, pricing, procurement, warehouse, and customer service teams to align freight operations with business needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of business experience in a global business network. Minimum 5 year of similar role experience in a global freight forwarding network. Bachelor's or higher degree. Minimum B2 English level. Profeciency in freight management software and Microsoft Office. Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Effective communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently. Familiarity with hazardous materials shipping and compliance. Preferred Qualification: Holding FIATA and/or IATA certification Work Environment: Remote-based role with occasional visits to warehouses, ports, or customer locations. May require occasional after-hours availability to handle urgent shipments or international time zone differences.
