Join a team committed to building a sustainable future! The Opportunity Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to join our team! This candidate will have hands-on packaging development experience with flexible films, folding cartons, and corrugated packaging. The role will support packaging projects focused on cost savings, quality improvement, innovation, and sustainability. Key Responsibilities: Support packaging projects from development through implementation Develop and maintain packaging specifications Coordinate and lead production-line trials Conduct lab testing and evaluate results Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners Manage project timelines and communicate results, risks, and recommendations Identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvement, innovation, and sustainability Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field 3–5+ years of packaging industry experience Experience with flexible films, folding cartons, and corrugated packaging Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional organization Strong written and verbal communication skills across internal and external teams Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines Creative, innovative, adaptable, and quick to learn Food industry experience preferred; confectionery or candy packaging experience is a plus Benefits: Competitive Salary Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance with Health Savings Options and Wellness Programs 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Generous Company Match Paid Parental Leave and Company-Paid Short-Term Disability Insurance Company-Paid Life Insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Sick and Mental Health Days 11 Paid Company Holidays Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Professional Development Opportunities Compensation Range: $85,000–$127,000 Adept Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug-free workplace.
