A-players apply only!

We’re hiring a senior paid media strategist to own a portfolio of ecommerce accounts end-to-end across Google Ads and Meta, strategy and execution.

This is not an entry-level role, and it is not a task-list role. Nobody will hand you a list of optimizations each week. You decide what each account needs on each channel, do it, and explain why it worked.

You will be strategic, and you will also execute.

If you treat client budgets like your own money, get curious the moment the numbers move, and bring new tests every week without being asked, we want to meet you.

This is a full-time, fully remote role, open to candidates based in Latin America.

Compensation: $2,500/mo

What you’ll own

You are the subject matter expert for paid acquisition on Google and Meta:

  • Full account ownership for multiple ecommerce brands across both channels: strategy, builds, optimization and results
  • Cross-channel budget allocation: deciding how spend splits between Google and Meta, and moving it when the numbers say so
  • Google campaign builds from scratch: Search, Shopping, Performance Max, remarketing, plus YouTube and Demand Gen as needed
  • Shopping and feed health: Merchant Center, feed optimization, and choosing the right campaign type and structure for each catalog, including when Standard Shopping beats PMax
  • Meta campaign builds and structure: Advantage+ Sales, manual prospecting and retargeting, catalog and dynamic product ads, and knowing when to consolidate versus split
  • Creative strategy and testing on Meta: a steady pipeline of new concepts, hooks and formats, reading fatigue early, and writing briefs for UGC, static and video (no production)
  • Account hygiene without reminders: search term reviews, negatives, placement exclusions, audience overlap, frequency checks and budget pacing, every week
  • Audience and customer insight: digging into who converts and why, then turning that into audience, creative and landing page tests on both platforms
  • A written testing plan for every account, with new tests proposed each week across audiences, bids, creative and landing pages
  • Tracking setup and troubleshooting: GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel and Conversions API, and reconciling platform-reported results against store data
  • Measurement beyond platform ROAS: blended MER, new-customer CAC, and lift or holdout tests when they make sense
  • Landing page feedback and CRO recommendations
  • Forecasting, budget recommendations and growth planning
  • Weekly reporting with a Loom walkthrough: what happened on each channel, why, and what you are doing next
  • Account audits and strategic recommendations for new and prospective clients
  • Occasional client calls

You’ll work closely with our Digital Marketing Strategists/Account Managers, who use your analysis, Looms and insights to communicate with clients.

Who you are

You are an A-player who loves to be held accountable and to the highest standards. You are an operator and a strategist, not a button pusher:

  • You know the why. You can explain the reasoning behind every campaign type, structure and setting on both platforms.
  • You think in channels, not silos. You know Google and Meta credit themselves for the same sale, and you make decisions on blended results, not on whichever dashboard looks best.
  • Proactive. You spot problems and opportunities first and bring ideas weekly.
  • Analytical. You are fluent in CAC, ROAS, MER, attribution and incrementality, and you connect ad metrics to the client’s actual profit.
  • Creatively sharp. You can look at a Meta ad and tell us why it will or won’t work, and what to test next.
  • Curious. You stay on top of betas, new formats and competitor moves on both platforms, and you test them.
  • Coachable. You take feedback well, apply it fast, and it sticks.
  • A clear communicator in English, in writing and on video. Your Looms and reports make sense to a non-expert.
  • Organized and reliable. Fast without cutting corners, calm under pressure, low ego, extreme ownership.
  • Comfortable working with US-based teams.

Required experience

  • 5+ years managing paid media for DTC or ecommerce brands, with hands-on Google Ads and Meta experience
  • Hands-on management of $20K to $250K+ per month in combined ad spend
  • Deep Google Shopping experience: Merchant Center, feed optimization, Standard Shopping and PMax strategy and structure
  • Proven Meta creative testing process, with examples of winning concepts you identified and scaled
  • Highly structured accounts built from scratch on both platforms
  • Tracking issues diagnosed and fixed yourself in GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel and CAPI
  • A track record of improving ROAS and MER and lowering CAC, with numbers you can walk us through
  • Detailed reporting and insights, delivered confidently on Loom
  • Fluent English

Nice to have: TikTok, Microsoft Ads or other platform experience; agency experience managing several accounts at once; Shopify experience.

What success looks like

  • MER improves and new-customer CAC falls across your accounts
  • You scale spend across both channels without sacrificing CAC
  • Every account has a live testing plan and a fresh creative pipeline, and you bring new opportunities each week
  • Strategists and clients understand what is happening from your Looms and reports, without a follow-up call
  • You own paid acquisition as if it were your own business

How we work

  • Fully remote, based in Latin America
  • Available 9am to 5pm US Mountain Time, Monday to Friday
  • We communicate through Google Meet, email, Google Chat and Loom

How to apply

Apply here on LinkedIn.

Shortlisted candidates will be asked to record a 5-minute Loom walking through one ecommerce account where they ran both Google and Meta: what they found, how they split budget between channels, what they changed, and the result. Anonymized screenshots are fine.

If you really want to stand out and show us you read the entire job description and that you're an A-player, be proactive and send that Loom video to employment@stryde.com before we reach out.
