Senior Partnerships & Licensing Manager

We are looking for a Senior Partnerships & Licensing Manager to take ownership of Amatera's external outreach, building the research and commercial relationships that will bring our plant cell biology technology to the world's seed and agriculture companies — someone with experience in the bio/ag sector and a genuine feel for the business life cycle of seed and breeding companies.

Your mission

• Raise Amatera’s profile within the seed and agriculture sector and identify new research and commercial partnership opportunities.
• Progress opportunities through the sales lifecycle through lead qualification, proposal of terms, deal structuring and close.
• Act as the trusted interface between Amatera's executives and senior leaders at partner companies, building long-term relationships grounded in trust.

What we’re looking for

• Commercial: Proven track record in business development or partnerships within the ag and seed industry. Experience working with and/or for incumbent seed companies is nice to have.
• Licensing & relationship management: Experience of identifying potential partners, structuring deals, contract negotiation, interfacing with partners and relationship building.
• Technical: A good technical understanding is necessary. An advanced degree in plant sciences is nice to have, not a requirement.
• A self-starter, motivated and self-driven, able to work without elaborate support infrastructure and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic start-up environment.
• Experiences in legal, sales and marketing are nice to have.
• Fluent in English; French is a bonus, not a requirement.
