Remuneration: HEW 5 ($86,344 - $99,179) plus 17% employer superannuation

The Opportunity

As a Senior Payment Services Officer, you will provide high quality administrative and payment services that support the effective operation of the Payment Services Division. You will manage a range of expense management and accounts payable activities, including processing local and overseas supplier invoices, reconciling payments and maintaining accurate financial records, while ensuring compliance with University policies, taxation and audit requirements.

You will work closely with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, providing timely advice and high levels of customer service. The role also contributes to reporting, data management, system administration and continuous improvement initiatives, with a strong focus on accuracy, quality and efficient service delivery.

About You

You will have strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will bring sound analytical and problem solving skills, along with the ability to identify issues, investigate information and develop practical solutions.

You will have well developed communication and customer service skills and be confident working both independently and as part of a team. Experience with a commercial finance system incorporating accounts payable, purchasing and expense management, together with knowledge of taxation and audit requirements, will be highly regarded. A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of experience, education and training is required.
