We are looking for an enthusiastic Payroll Professional to join our Payroll team in Athens and help us deliver excellence for our clients. About the role As a Payroll Professional, you will oversee multiple client payrolls ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence, while guiding team members, supporting client needs, and driving process improvements and business growth. Your role will include: Responsible for full year payroll calculation cycle and monthly payroll reports for clients. Identify, research, and resolve payroll variances during daily review and controls. Prepare and submit social security and payroll tax filings (e.g. APD, FMY) Calculate compensation packages for employees Processing employees’ time and attendance information for working hours/sick leaves/leaves/overtime hours etc. Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other internal departments to streamline processes, ensure data integrity, and support company objectives. Respond to payroll-related and local labor legislation inquiries from clients. Create and modify reports based on client needs. Provide guidance and support to other members of the team as required. Ensure compliance and accuracy with applicable local laws and regulations. ü Stay updated on payroll regulations, labor laws and industry trends. ü Communication with social security and labor authorities What we are looking for BSc in Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field (MSc in Human Resources or a related discipline will be considered an asset) 3+ years of relevant experience in payroll administration; previous experience in a consulting firm or client-facing environment will be considered an advantage Excellent knowledge of ERGANI, SEPENET and e-EFKA platforms Experience with payroll systems such as SCAN, Hyper or similar payroll software Experience in Time & Attendance systems will be considered an asset In-depth knowledge of current labor legislation and payroll procedures Experience in handling multiple payrolls will be highly regarded Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken) Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Team player with strong communication and report writing skills Positive attitude, professionalism and a strong sense of responsibility Willingness to learn and continuously develop What we offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonus that reward your skills and contributions, complemented by additional perks aligned to your experience and grade.
