Senior Pega UX & Front-End Developer | Dutch Speaking

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a Senior Pega UX & Front-End Developer with strong experience in Pega implementation, Pega Constellation, DX API, ReactJS, and modern UX design.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with UX consulting and design leadership skills, working closely with business stakeholders, UX teams, Pega architects, and development teams to deliver modern, scalable, and user-centric Pega solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead UX discovery workshops, design-thinking sessions, and stakeholder interviews
• Analyse business processes and user journeys to identify UX improvement opportunities
• Define UX strategies aligned with business and customer objectives
• Develop personas, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and interaction designs
• Establish UX standards, accessibility guidelines, and design governance
• Design and develop modern UIs using Pega Constellation and DX API
• Build custom and reusable UI components using ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Develop and integrate headless front-end applications with Pega
• Integrate React applications with Pega Case Management and workflow solutions through DX APIs
• Develop responsive, mobile-first, and accessible user experiences
• Model and design Pega Case Management and Pega DCM solutions
• Integrate bespoke UIs with Pega Case Management/DCM
• Integrate Pega solutions with microservices, databases, REST APIs, and custom components
• Apply low-code engineering principles within Pega
• Collaborate closely with Pega architects, developers, UX teams, and business stakeholders
• Develop geo-enabled applications using map servers, OpenLayers, or similar technologies
• Ensure solutions are scalable, reusable, secure, and aligned with the overall solution architecture

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Dutch speaking and writing proficiency – Mandatory
• 10–12+ years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of experience in Pega implementation projects
• 3+ years of experience with Pega Constellation and DX API
• 4+ years of ReactJS front-end development experience
• Strong experience in UX consulting, UI design, and front-end development
