Senior People & Culture Advisor Bowen Hills | Full Time | Hybrid Opportunity | Maximum Term Contract to 28 February 2027 $100,000 - $105,000 per annum + Superannuation + Salary Packaging Benefits Support People. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our People & Culture team on a maximum-term contract through to 28 February 2027 . This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering with leaders, providing trusted advice, navigating complex people matters and contributing to initiatives that strengthen workforce capability and culture. You will work closely with managers across the organisation to provide practical, solution-focused advice and support across the employee lifecycle. About the Role Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will act as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees across Lives Lived Well, supporting the delivery of high-quality people services that align with our values, strategic priorities and organisational goals. You will play a key role in supporting managers to navigate employee relations matters, workforce challenges and people initiatives while helping to build leadership capability throughout the organisation. Key responsibilities include: Providing timely, accurate and practical advice across the employee lifecycle. Leading and managing complex employee relations matters, including performance management, conduct concerns, workplace investigations, grievances, disciplinary processes and conflict resolution, while providing expert advice and coaching to leaders. Supporting leaders with interpretation and application of employment legislation, Modern Awards, policies and procedures. Coaching and building capability of managers to effectively lead and manage their teams. Supporting organisational change initiatives and workforce projects. Managing complex people matters with professionalism, sound judgement and a solutions-focused approach. Contributing to policy development, process improvement and People & Culture initiatives. Supporting recruitment, workforce planning and talent activities as required. Analysing workforce data and trends to support informed decision-making. Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with organisational and legislative requirements. This position is based in Bowen Hills , with the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week following the onboarding period. What We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, providing trusted advice and supporting leaders to achieve positive outcomes. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience in a Senior HR advisory, People & Culture or generalist HR role. Demonstrated experience managing complex employee relations matters, including performance management, workplace investigations, misconduct, grievances, conflict resolution and disciplinary processes. Strong knowledge of contemporary HR practices, employment legislation and industrial relations principles. Experience providing advice and support across performance management, employee relations, workplace investigations and change management. Knowledge of Modern Awards, ideally including SCHADS and/or Nursing Awards. Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills. Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees across multiple sites, including regional and remote locations Excellent communication, coaching and influencing abilities. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. Experience working with HRIS, recruitment and performance management systems. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and reporting tools. You will also hold: A current Australian Driver Licence. A current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or the ability to obtain one. A National Police Clearance (or the ability to obtain one. Experience within the not-for-profit, healthcare or community services sector will be highly regarded.
